Grades 1-8

Our Grade 1-8 program uses a research-based methodology that brings school to life so students discover the immense joy of learning and become powerful, imaginative thinkers and communicators that can translate their ideas into action.

The guidance of caring and passionate teachers within an eight student class allows for personalized learning that builds mastery, confidence and ensures that educational goals are met.

Daily immersion in the natural world provides a vivid, inspirational context for learning.

The school day includes regular field trips to museums, art galleries, live performances and diverse hands-on creative experiences.

Starting in Grade 1, students begin weekly music lessons (in pairs or individually). Students study the guitar (beginner to advanced), performance, theory and history.

Our students participate in the award winning Guelph Youth Singers choir, where children have the opportunity to develop musical knowledge and theory, performance ability, enjoy the fun of singing together and exploring their community through performances, retreats, festivals and tours.
